Blood Donation Camp held at College in Ludhiana


Ludhiana – NSS Unit & Youth Red Cross Society of Guru Nanak Girls College, Model Town, Ludhiana, organized a Voluntary Blood Donation Camp on 26th September, 2018. The camp was organized in collaboration with Shri Krishna Charitable Hospital, Ludhiana. Principal Dr.(Mrs.) Charanjit Mahal inaugurated the event and acknowledged the exemplary efforts of one and all involved in this noble cause. She encouraged the students to become a part of this altruistic mission and went on to say that donating blood means a few minutes for the donor but a life time for the donee.

Blood donation is the most important social service to the mankind, so in order to save millions of lives, we as humans should donate blood to make a big difference in the lives of many. Dr. Reena Garg (Sr. Consultant Pathologist) echoed the same thought and instilled vigour and enthusiasm amongst the students to donate blood which is the most precious and supreme charity. students & staff members donated blood in this blood donation Camp.
