China will have its personal moon by 2020

To cut the cost of street lighting and electricity, China is researching on a unique manner of lighting that is their own artificial moon. The first man-made moon will be launched from Xichang Satellite Centre In Sichuan after successfully testing their artificial moon for a short duration. This man-made moon will reflect light from the sun and can brighten up the areas up to 50 km for 1 year which will in turn save 1.2 Billion Yuan annually.
