Lakewood School opens with a celebrations of women’s day


Ludhiana– Lakewood School opened for the people of Ludhiana with the celebration of Women’s Day on 11th March. Events like me and my daughter, baby show, and Bhangra were the attraction of small and impressive events. This event is celebrating childhood and its innocence with a fun-filled baby shows. Mom and daughter segment had many mothers sharing their dreams for their little princesses. The little boys and their fathers also participated and expressed how they would prepare their boys to respect women in the society. There were many exciting and fun loving activities for the children. Children from 1-5 age group participated in the healthy baby show. There were many live performances including like ramp walk, music performances and art. Many parents took part with their tiny tots.A scholarship test was also conducted in academics, sports, music, art and theatre. The winners will be given a scholarship upto and Rs.1Lac per child.

Dr. Gagandeep Kaur (member lakewood school management) chief guest warmly welcomed the audience for being part of the event. She emphasised the importance of parenting and nurturing children in the right manner and giving them the most valuable gift. Dr. Narotam Singh and Mr. Anmol Singh, Directors of the school also emphasised upon the right manner of bringing up the children. Dr. Jairnal Singh, one of the directors from U.K graced the occasion with his valuable presence.

Based on performances, the tiny tots were awarded. Chirag, Lovish, and Rishab bagged 1st, 2nd and 3rd position in Healthy Baby show and Japfateh, Reyansh and Angad pocketed 1st, 2nd and 3rd position in mom n me ramp walk. Every child has a lot of hidden talent, which just needs to be found; was what the show was about.It is important to give children a great start so that they strengthen their abilities and use them in their future.To emphasize this, the Principal of Lakewood School Sunita Babu, said that she believes that every child is unique and talented. It is important to give children a great start so that they can make their abilities even better and in their future.
