Ludhiana – PCTE Group of Institutes and The Indus Entrepreneur- Chandigarh signed an MOU to Foster Entrepreneurship with the aim and objective of encouraging students to become successful businessman. TiE is a global network that promotes entrepreneurship, PCTE and TiE will encourage new entrepreneurs to establish through mentoring, networking, education, incubating and funding.
Tie is one of the world’s largest not-for-profit organizations of entrepreneurs. Start-up and Entrepreneurship is one of the eight strategic pillars of the ‘The Industrial and Business Development Policy 2017’ of Government of Punjab. For implementation of the same, Govt. of Punjab is supporting TiE Chandigarh in organizing sensitizing sessions for promotion of innovation and entrepreneurship in the state.
PCTE and TiE signed an MOU to facilitate the germination of ideas into actual businesses, TiE has created wealth and helped to boost the economies of geographies in which it operates. Students will be indulged in various activities related to starting a new business and they will be guided regarding idea generation to idea pitching to hackathon etc. With the help of this MOU investors will be invited in the campus and will guided regarding the establishing a new business.
Dr KNS Kang, Director General, PCTE Group of Institutes said that through this MOU students will get an opportunity to practically implement from their learning and the college will guide them regarding the same and will help them to establish their own business.
