Plantation Drive held at College in Ludhiana


Ludhiana – Keeping in mind the inauspicious environmental conditions , Rotaract club of GGN khalsa college Ludhiana organised a tree plantation event at GGN khalsa college. The event was organised with a view to make awareness about the benefits of a healthy environment among students.The dignatories present on the occasion were Principal of GGN khalsa college Dr. Arvinder Singh , Rotarian Dalbir Singh Makkar , Rotarian Pritpal Singh Deol along with rotaractor Gurpreet singh , Ankush Mishra , Amanjot singh , Taranjeet singh , Rohit kumar. Incharge of the club Professor Munisha ,president of the club Aman sodhey and Secretary Prabhjot Singh were also present .

Principal Dr. Arvinder singh after planting a sapling said ‘ I am thankful to rotaract club of GGN khalsa college for organising and doing such a beautiful project. To save our environment there is a need to run more such campaigns . If we will not save trees today , next generations will not be able to see the green beauty ’.

Addressing the students Rotarian pritpal singh deol said ‘ today there is a need to do programs like this . With the increasing rate of urbanisation greenery is left nowhere. To save the environment we have to put efforts else we will not be able to breathe in the upcoming years’.Incharge of club prof. Munisha and everybody present at event pledged to keep the environment and surrounding clean.
