Six-month free training course for persons with disability

LUDHIANA- National Career Service Centre For Differently-Abled, established by Government of India for the welfare, training, placement and rehabilitation services for the Persons With Disability (PWDs), is set to start fresh batches of six month training for PWDs for academic year 2018-19 in Commercial, Metal, Hosiery, Cutting & Tailoring and Radio &TV Trades with limited Hostel facility (only boys/lodging) and stipend as per norm.

Assistant Director (Rehabilitation) Mr. Pankaj Jain said that those interested candidates can approach the center for free application form by writing a request latter or personally. If any organization working for PWDs, special schools and NGOs they can also approach for bulk admission, he added and clarified that the training would be given free of cost. He informed that the forms can be submitted to center’s office at Advance Training Institute, Gill Road till March 23, which is the last date for submitting the forms. He claimed that it is an opportunity for the differently abled persons to prove them as equal and important part of society.
