Tree Plantation Drive held at Rakh Bagh in Ludhiana


Ludhiana – Today Sahayaks Welfare And Assistance Society organised a Tree Plantation Drive under Project Oxygen, at Rakh Bagh. Under the guidance of Mr. Ashu Bansal (Chairperson, SWAAS) the volunteers planted around 70 saplings and took a pledge to plant more and more tress in order to save the environment.

The onlookers appreciated the efforts of students and were motivated to do the same in order to conserve and preserve a healthy environment for the generations to come. The activity was planned by student volunteers Arushi, Anshul, Prerna, Ankit, Seerat, Babit, Yashica, Muskan Gupta, Muskan Aggarwal, Suruchi, Riya, Arpit, Shagun, Himanshu, Varun and Abheeti.

In all the volunteers were able to spread the message of planting more tress and they are adamant to keep doing their efforts to serve the society as well as the nature.
