Moving ahead to its final touch, the NSS volunteers on 6th day of the camp had a workshop on Skill Development: chocolate making by Ms. Shanu Sharma. She demonstrated and explained about varieties of chocolate making. Students found the session immemsely innovative and knowledgeable. The volunteers got to learn so many new trends in chocolates. Then came the exciting part of the drive,which helped in enhancing the comeliness of the campus with several saplings planted.
On the concluding day of the seven day NSS camp , various mesmerizing cultural activities were held to encourage the talent of the students.The volunteers presented handful of various talents they had with them. With a stern commitment to serve the nation, the 7 day National service scheme (NSS) camp ended successfully with great valour and enthusiasm. In the end prize distribution ceremony was held in which Rahul and Gurtej Singh were declared best social worker. Prize for first runner up (girls) was bagged by Sandhya and Himanshu (boys) respectively. Parwinder Singh stood best camper(boys) and Pankushi as best camper (girls).
The President of the managing committee Sh. Ashok Jain, General Secretary Sh. Narinder Jain, Offg Principal of the college Prof Rishikesh, Coordinator Sh. H.R.Saini congratulated the NSS volunteers for organizing such a successful camp. They stated that by attending the camp, the students could learn a number of things that are not available in normal course of classroom education. They emphasized that NSS volunteers in particulars can help to a large extent to eradicate various social evils still prevailing in the society by their awareness campaign. They further said that that the camp was the best example of national integrity as people of different religions and caste cooperated with each other in making the camp a great success.
